Description: modern half bound in dark brown cloth with hand marbled paper covered sides, lettered and ruled in gilt at spine, title label upper board, a firm and complete copy of the issue, covering 'the extent, boundaries, and natural production of each country; and the trade, manufacture and curiosities of the cities and towns; their longitude, latitude, bearing and distances in English miles from remarkable places; and the various events by which they have been distinguished, including an account of the counties, cities, boroughs, market-towns and principal villages in Great Britain and Ireland',

Faults: edges dusty and browned, contemporary ink name top cnr. first blank, a few faint (and occasional heavier) fox marks in text and on maps, small chip top cnr. N¹ clipping but not into text, no dustwrapper issued,
